Querying Non-Fiction Magazines

I think Fran is absolutely divine. I love that she’s a writer and a painter. I love to paint. Also, I wanted to actually name one of my daughters Francis, I always thought it was a beautiful name, but I wasn’t really allowed to; Frances was the name of the birth-mother who abandoned someone in my husband’s family, so it seemed like I’d be honoring someone who wasn’t so honorable. Either way, Fran’s blog is FRANTASTIC. Surely she’d knock me off my block for making up a word like that. Anyways, she’s entertaining, intelligent and she’s a writer and editor. Her new novel sounds fantastic, she uses the blog as an accountability tool (don’t we all have our own methods)
