Guidelines

Published by mrshannigan under Uncategorized Edit This

I am so happy to say that I have printed all of the guidelines for all of the magazines that I have on my shelf. I still haven’t read all of them. I’m catching up. Surely when I will I will end up coming up with some fantastic article ideas and be able to think of more things to write about. I’m working on it. I’m really annoyed still that I haven’t heard back from… Would it be rude to say? I don’t’ want to spoil it. Hmmm, I sent them a query and they responded that they’d like to see the article. So I sent the article within 48 hours, and their guidelines said they’d respond within 4-6 weeks. After 7 weeks, I resent the article, and mentioned (tactfully) the fact that I had originally sent it on Sept 15th and that since it’s been past 6 weeks, I’m assuming they hadn’t received it. OK, I won’t mention their name in a complaining way until the second 6 weeks have passed. Not even a rejection at this point. Weird, and rude. There are other markets for that article, y’know. If I were better at this business I’d have sent it to another market, huh.
